今天再次阅读了Ten things Google has found to be true（Google 发现的十大真理），次标题是Never settle for the best。Ten things基本说的是google在网络上的发展方向。摘抄如下：

  3. Fast is better than slow.
  4. Democracy on the web works.
  5. You don’t need to be at your desk to need an answer.
  6. You can make money without doing evil.
  7. There’s always more information out there.
  8. The need for information crosses all borders.
  9. You can be serious without a suit.
  10. Great just isn’t good enough.

对我而言，已经把1、2、7和10作为目前工作的第一准则。 对于第1条，google还有4个解释，后2个不归我管，但是前2个：# The interface is clear and simple.# Pages load instantly.却是需要我关注的。我是做网站技术的，以前写程序的第一目标是大而全，内容要多，恨不得所有东西都在页面上显示出来，因而页面比较乱，载入也慢。很少考虑页面元素是不是用户需要的，只要我需要的就行。现在已经有很大改善，把用户的需求放在第一位了。 我同时还扩展了第7条： There’s always more idea out there。 以前我写程序时，常常局限在当前程序自身上，考虑的范围比较窄，程序的复用性就差了；还有一点就是对更多其他事情的关注太少，这个很不利于思路的扩展 ，因此很难获得比较高的层次的 提升。 这2年我逐渐认识到了这点，并用There’s always more idea out there来引导自己。 您可以从google那里看到全文，点击查看。
